How long should you wait before seeing a doctor for your daith piercing infection

The first step with almost any body piercing is to do the basic care procedures; Clean the area with rubbing alcohol on a swab, use a hot compress to soak the piercing in some hot salt water and if none of that works you may need to try antibiotic cream or general antibiotics. If none of the basic "Home procedures" work it is very important you contact your GP or Piercist, Cartlidge peircings can cause some nasty complications if infections are not treated, including the collapse of the ear cartlidge.

If the infection doesnt disappear after 2-3 days of treatment, then you should see a doctor.

Also, Many times a doctor may request that you remove the peircing, this however is not the best option as it may cause an abscess to form (An infection trapped under the skin as the hole closes up)
